ECOTEAM
Crystallization is an operation unit whose goal is to obtain a crystalline solid from a solution.
During the process of crystallization is caused by the supersaturation of the solution resulting in precipitation of crystals of the solute.
The processes to obtain the supersaturation are:
- Cooling
- Solvent evaporation
- Evaporative cooling

With the crystallization by cooling is treated in Galvanic processes:
Alkaline baths to remove the sodium bicarbonate
Sulfuric pickling to remove the ferrous sulphate
