ECOTEAM produces filtration unit to remove specific pollutants via physical or chemical processes.

Filtration is an operation that allows a semicontinuous action, thanks to the "average" filter, to remove the specific pollutant and therefore to enhance the quality of the treated water; then, "media" is restored through physical and/or chemical operations.

The most common filtration systems allow what follows:

- Removal of suspended solids, thanks to the sand filtration (ECOFS)

- Removal of organic substances, thanks to the Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filtration (ECOFC) 

- Removal of heavy metals, nitrates, boron, thanks to specific functional group resin's filtration which allows the formation of a strong bond with the pollutant (ECOFR)
