ECOTEAM produces purification units [ECOFR], whose aim is the removal of Sodium Carbonate by crystallization.

The crystallization of the Sodium Carbonate is induced by the solution's cooling, due to the strong dependence of the solubility on the temperature.

The ECOFR system, thanks to a refrigerator circuit, allows the cooling of the solution within a chamber of crystallization, which prevents the scaling of the heat exchange surface, through a scraping system.

The removal of Sodium Carbonate allows the purification of many alkaline Sodium based solutions such as

  • Alkaline zinc
  • Cyanide zinc
  • Zinc Nickel
  • Alkaline cadmium
  • Alkaline copper 
  • Brassing
